Our family run business is dedicated to developing your kitchen skills - from oyster shucking to fish filleting and preparing crab, the unique opportunities here will allow you to perfect your techniques working with the best seafood there is.






FRONT OF HOUSE

Our front of house crew is focused on delivering the art of a relaxed yet professional service. From wine knowledge to the best coffee, regular training, food tastings and product knowledge is part of our culture. We want our team to embrace what our management team has to offer.

Steeped in history, the Newhaven fish market dates back to 1896, where it was once crammed with fishwives picking up freshly caught fish to sell to the locals. Times may have moved on, but the heart of Newhaven remains firmly with the finest of seafood- and The Fishmarket will ensure that continues for years to come.
